Mio nonos is the best food ever and is worth the money as a busser I love the people there and the atmosphere also chef is the best cook ever and I always leave on a good note with my belly full :)

Great environment! Food is great and the service was good. They did bring my calamari out last but it may have been mid communication. I will definitely be coming back!

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food everything was nicely done and very tasty, very close to what you get in Italy. I highly recommend it, it's one of my favorite places now.

This is always a great place to stop with my Real Estate Clients. I love the feel of the interior decor of the restaurant. Comfortable with an edge of relaxed elegance. The crafted cocktails are full of taste. The Italian cuisine is from scratch and an amazing balance of taste and textures! Our servers are ALWAYS so attentive and exceptional!!! The owner checked in on us and created some custom crafted entrees that were amazing. The entree named the Russia is incredible along with the homemade bread! You have to try the Tiramisu it is so good and a great finish to great food. My clients where so comfortable they didn't want to leave.

The food is consistently well prepared and tasty, employees provides good service. I loved the cleanliness and character. Worth a try.

Craved a really good pasta. Ordered a take out from Mio Nonno one late evening. Need I say more? Just look at these pictures. Pastas were all dried up, portions were so little compared to what their website pictures showed, and tasted very bland. I want to believe that this bad experience was due to being a take-out. Hopefully you’ll get a better meal when you actually dine in there.

The host and my server were friendly, however... I witnessed one of the cooks and one of the servers using their *bare hands* to put food on customers' plates. The cook was scraping some type of cream from a spoon with his finger onto a customer's plate. Then a server ran his fingers through his hair and placed some blocks of cheese into my plate. Disgusting! The kitchen is in an open part of the restaurant so this must be a common and accepted practice of theirs. Won't be returning...

Delicious food and very good service every time I was here (today was my 5th). Ambiance is beautiful. Overall, I highly recommend Mio Nonno for a relaxed lunch or dinner. Friday and weekend nights are busy.

Having visited twice, the service is consistently high quality, the menu is classic Italian, the food is well prepared and presented, and the dining experience is superb. The lack of wild caught fish and shellfish is a disappointment. Farm raised is a poor substitute.

Came here yesterday with a large party for a wedding dinner and the service was incredible and attentive. This lovely restaurant had a modern feel to it but great classic Italian food. I had the lasagna and it was so good!!! I ate it all and was even contemplating ordering another slice. I also had their cheesecake for dessert and it was a huge slice so you get hefty amounts of food for a great price. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals and had a fantastic time. Thank you so much Ethan and all the other servers who helped accommodate us!

Amazing food. Everything i ate from the bread to the gnocci was top notch.Gnocci is a 9 of 10. I get mine with the sauce on the side and the gnocci were still very wet.The lobster and shrimp ravioli was solid. A 9 of 10. Stuffed full of all the goodies. Sauce had amazing flavor Calamari was a 8 out of 10. Good breadingMeatballs were really good. Some of the best around. 9.5 of 10The bread was bomb. The oil was not very good. Needed more seasoning ( or maybe i just dont appreciate good olive oil because its not really my thing ) Great service at the bar. Over all i give the restaurant a 4.5 out of 5. Most authentic italian flavors with in 60 miles

My first time experience at Mio Nonno was amazing but my next visit was not, which is disappointing since I used to preach my friends about this place. Their cooking is not consistent and my pasta was very bland. The manager(or someone who seems like it) came up to my table and offered me a dessert to make up our night. She appreciated our feedback but sadly even the dessert was soso. I probably would go back hoping they could recreate my first visit.

Food was good but the wait was rediculous. We called in our order 2 hours in advance. We didn't get it for 30 min after the scheduled time.

Fantastic Italian joint. House bread when you arrive with the olive oil is on point. We had the special veal chop parmigiana and margherita pizza. Looking forward to going back. Flower Mound doesn’t have many good restaurants but this is DEFINITELY one of them.

I will start by saying the for traditional Italian food, the food was "good".NOW on service. Avoid lunch @ this restaurant. It took over an hour to get our food and we had to beg for bread. In fact it was not until after we got tired of waiting and asked, "Where is our food?" That our waiter hid from us and had the front door greeter deliver our food. (Side note - over half the tables were empty, so it was not just a busy day.)Our entire group of 7 agreed that we will never cross the front door of this location again. The pizza across the street is better and faster.

My new favorite restaurant. I’m not about to eat Italian anywhere else after discovering this place. I had heard so many great things and we were not disappointed tonight. The food could not have been better, the drinks were perfect, and the service was amazing. All of the staff were great, so courteous, friendly, and welcoming. Michael was our waiter and made the entire dining experience a pleasure. Will definitely be back!

Had a nice time, the server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was able answer my husbands questions he was very attentive to our table and the large group behind us. The bread was awesome 😊So was the meal, this was a overall great experience and would definitely return. My husband said the veal was tender and well seasoned, my shrimp in my pasta was perfectly cooked with my al dente penne pasta.

Shelby Buehler was amazing! Very attentive and helpful. Food was amazing as well. Shelby makes the best martinis and they are only $4 on Thursdays :)

Wow...what a treat. A friend recommended this place for dinner and we had never been there before, so we were excited to try this place. They had live music which was absolutely a plus. The only downside is that we were having an in depth conversation and the volume of the live music was so loud that we couldn’t hear each other talk. I love the live music but the volume needs to be maintained at a level where conversations can take place if you are not there for the music. On the food side of things, it was fantastic. I ordered a special meal and they made it for me no problem. The food and the customer service earned the 5 stars. The music was a bit of a struggle due to volume but we love the fact that live music gets a chance in a local restaurant. So 5 stars all the way.

A wonderful place for a meal. The Italian style food was just delicious and on our Saturday evening just before Christmas they had a live guitarist playing a mix of holiday music and recognizable songs from the 70's. The staff was so nice . We all had a great time and from the background sounds , so did the rest of the crowd that was there. Outdoor and indoor seating. Get a reservation, it gets busy.

Excellent Italian dishes. They have an authentic pizza oven with a great selection of pizzas. I have tried their lasagna, which is excellent and the Russia dish which is pasta with vodka sauce and grilled chicken. For appetizer, try the calamari and bruschetta. Ask to be seated in Max's section. Excellent server!

They don't have a brunch menu, this is so bizarre. So we don't eat there on the weekends before 6:00 PM....how strange not to have a menu for earlier in the day. I like it a lot at night though, good ambiance and love when they have live music.

Definitely worth your visit. The service top down was impeccable. The food was delicious, although the don't serve sweet tea, that wasn't a problem. Try the gambini arrabiata, the garlic sauce is amazing.

Had a really great time here. Our server, Alma gave us such great service. We didn’t order much, but she was still so nice and really great at her job. The food was also great, even the house bread and house salads were amazing. Glad to have tried this place out!

Good food, good service. Owner/manager and the bartender wore their masks below their chin in defiance. All of the other staff were in compliance and polite.

Went for dinner. -while the food was good the guy with the mullet playing the guitar to piped in music was ENTIRELY too loud! We mentioned it several times to our waiter, the manager and the owner - but could not get him to turn it down - we are done with this place - most people sat outside and no one sat close to this guy - Not sure why the restaurant is powerless to stop this noise - don’t go on Saturday!

Mío Nonno was a spectacular find as we were visiting the Flower Mound area. It appears to be new. The food is fresh, extremely tasty and the portions are just right. This place is as romantic as it gets, yet it is open enough for fsmifa gatherings. They offer live guitar music on Saturday night which fits the atmosphere just fine. Sit on the patio for a more private and intimate experience. #LuveRemarkably
